The airport is located to the north of Oslo city. Easiest way to get into town is by train.
There are 2 options:
It is fast(er), newer and more visible at arrival.

There are also bussees who can take you to town. Prices are (last time we checked) inbetween Flytoget and NSB.
FROM CENTRAL STATION TO MATHALLEN AREA
From Central station fo Vulkan area (where Mathallen/NBC venue are) you can take bus 54 (towards Kjelsås). You need to purchase a ticket for the bus at a Narvesen shop (Norwegian 7-11). You will find a Narvesen kiosk when you get into the station Building. You CAN buy a ticket in the bus, but then it costs 50NOK (7,5 USD).
To find the bus from the arrival platform can be an interesting walk in the station Building – but ask for directions / look for signs towards “Jernbanetorget”. There you will find bus 54.
You can also walk. The walk (up hill) takes around 15 minutes to PS hotel. Ask for direction to Mathallen.
