Thursday Afternoon Preview.

As attendees finish up evaluating round one of the Nordic Roaster Cup with a tasting of 5 espressos, and start to think about lunch, we’re looking forward to this afternoon’s program.

The first speaker after the break will be Morten Wennersgaard, green coffee buyer and founder of green coffee importer, Nordic Approach, who will be presenting on sourcing great coffee in Africa, followed by a cupping of some of those coffees. Afterwards, Hamish Anderson, wine buyer and Head Sommelier of  London’s Tate galleries, will be discussing with us ‘terroir versus blending’, with reference to great wine, followed by a wine tasting.

In a new feature of this year’s program, from 4:30pm James Hoffmann and Tim Wendelboe, will be hosting a 30 minute recap of today’s activities, reflecting on what we’ve heard, learned and taken away from each session.

Right now, it’s time to eat.
