Teams were required to smell closed cups containing a variety of different foodstuffs, from smoked mackerel to sunflower oil, horseradish and top soil (not really a foodstuff, I suppose). Within the time limit, each team needed to guess the contents correctly of as many containers as possible.
The results:
In joint third place, with five correct answers, Denmark & Sweden.
In second place, with six correct answers, Finland.
In first place, with a very convincing eleven correct answers, Norway.
