If you drop by the Nespresso stand you might be so lucky as to taste coffee, of all sorts, sizes and temperatures, from the not yet released Aquila (meaning “The Eagle” in spanish as you no doubt know) machine.
Given than the aquila is as of yet unreleased this is in fact a sneak peak rather than an actual premiere, which makes it all the more exclusive of course. I had a cappuccino, an espresso and a “latino” and it was pretty damn good, if you consider that no barista was involved in the process. Especially the latino ice coffee skillfully presented by Danny (who is in fact from Sweden, but certainly looks the part) and Emma was quite the treat.
Jakob from the Nespresso stand explains: “We make machines for the casual coffee lover, who hasn’t got the time or the skills of a trained barista, but demands a quality uniform product none the less.”
Nespresso is a new addition to the NBC this year, and hopes to be a part of the journey for many years to come.
Go say hi to Jakob, Danny and Emma at the booth and they’ll be happy to show you the ropes, and explain to you why the latino will be the rave of the NBC.
